Grey Main School

Name: Sive                                      Date: Tuesday 14 March 2017

Last week on Friday room 8 wrote and sent poems to Grey Main School in Greymouth down in the south island. My metaphor was about a stinky, dirty, stained white t-shirt.

Yesterday Grey Main School sent their metaphor poems to us with their photos and what they do, what they like and a really long word. Our teacher printed it so everybody can see it.

What I have learnt from this is how far away Grey Mouth is from Auckland. The poems traveled by email in just a few seconds.

I liked how you used so much detail for your metaphor on the t-shirt. I remember writing a metaphor poem and sending it to Grey Main school. DO you remember the questions that we had to answer. Did you like their metaphor poems?
